{"id":5033,"date":"2010-06-16T14:07:43","date_gmt":"2010-06-16T12:07:43","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.adrena-software.com\/?p=5033"},"modified":"2018-10-15T16:19:05","modified_gmt":"2018-10-15T14:19:05","slug":"noaainterface","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.adrena-software.com\/en\/noaainterface\/","title":{"rendered":"NOAA interface"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">A simplified interface integrated into ADRENA navigation software offers a free access to the<strong> worldwide weather forecast<\/strong> provided by the American Oceanic and Atmospheric service: the<a href=\"http:\/\/www.noaa.gov\/\" target=\"_blank\"> NOAA<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Based on the American model GFS, the following data are available:<\/p>\n<ul style=\"list-style-type: square;\">\n<li>Wind force and direction: wind at 10 meters, at 80 meters\u00b2, at 850 hpa\u00b2, at 950 hpa\u00b2 ;<\/li>\n<li>Atmospheric pressure;<\/li>\n<li>Precipitations;<\/li>\n<li>Air temperature;<\/li>\n<li>North Atlantic Ocean tidal currents (including Gulf Stream);<\/li>\n<li>Data about waves<sup>1<\/sup> coming from WaveWatch&nbsp;3&nbsp;model: swell (height, direction and frequency), wind waves (height and direction), total sea (height);<\/li>\n<li>Global weather forecast<sup>2<\/sup>: evaluation of the weather forecast reliability;<\/li>\n<li>Gribs history<sup>2<\/sup>: analysis of previous weather conditions on a same area or a same itinerary.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">It is possible to choose the grib precision (e.g. 0.25\u00b0, 0.5\u00b0 or 1\u00b0), the length of time (up to 16 days), the time step and the type of data to download.
