Alexandre Ozon, winner of the Cap Martinique 2022

Congratulations to the first finishers and good end of race to the competitors still at sea!

SOLO

Alexandre Ozon wins the 1st edition of the Cap Martinique on Friday May 20, 2022 in Fort-de-France. He covered the 3800 miles between Morbihan and Martinique in 19 days 11 hours 51 minutes and 12 seconds. He was also the winner of the Transquadra in February.
Arriving 4h30 later, Jean-Pierre Kelbert took 2nd place.

 

TWO-HANDED

In the two-handed category, Delemazure and Weil (Project Rescue Ocean), are the first in Fort-de-France! The two skippers took 19 days 23 hours 38 minutes and 46 seconds to cover the 3800 miles of the race.

 

Ludovic Gérard and Nicolas Brossay (Solenn for Pure Ocean) won this first edition as a duo. Arriving in second position in real time, behind the crew Delemazure and Weil (Project Resue Ocean). They completed the race in 20 days, 1 hour and 23 minutes.

The 41 boats (16 single-handed and 25 two-handed) on Cap Martinique set off on May 1 in Quiberon Bay. Behind their Adrena screens, the solo and duo winners were able to follow the road to victory by tracking the slightest fluctuations in the weather.
