39 Figaro sailors on the starting line of the 46th edition
There will be 39 competitors on the starting line of one of the most prestigious French sailing race on May 31st in Bordeaux. An international fleet, 2185 nautical miles, four legs, three countries, various weather conditions, no doubt this will be a spectacular edition!
The first leg will be the shortest one: starting from Bordeaux to Sanxenxo in Spain. Then, the one-design boats will follow the direction of Quimper in Brittany through the island of Yeu. On June 14th, they will be heading to Torbay in England after having sailed around the Fastnet Rock. Not only will it be the longest leg, but it will also be the most on the open sea. Finally, they will go back to France in Dieppe for the final stage that will consecrate the winner of this 46th edition.
Most of the Class Figaro Bénéteau is equipped by ADRENA. Placing huge importance on customer satisfaction, the ADRENA team will be available in Bordeaux a few days before the start in order to deliver last tips and other pieces of advice on software ‘s use.

The longest sports event in the world
They arrive in France!
Last October, seven teams departed from Alicante (Spain) to race around the world during 9 months. After 8 stopovers in 8 countries (South of Africa, United Arab Emirates, China, New Zealand, Brazil, United States and Portugal), more than 37 000 nautical miles, 4 oceans and 5 continents, one-design Volvo Ocean 65 will be in France for a stopover of one week. The next to last stage of the longest sailing race in the world will take place in Lorient (Morbihan, France) from June 9th to 16th. Teams will arrive from June 9th (ETA to be confirmed), pro-am regattas, in-port race and a lot of entertainment. Departure for the final sprint to Gothenburg (Sweden) will be given on June 16th.
Lorient, first European pole of ocean sailing in number of skippers, is also the home port of Franck Cammas, winner of the last edition.
The seven one-design boats of the race are all equipped with ADRENA software. Always available for its customers, ADRENA team will be in Lorient to meet the sailors.
